Cloud Services
Over the recent years, the need for an on-premises server and physical office have become less and less. As a Managed Service Provider, we have significant experience in deploying many types of cloud solutions, such as SharePoint, Azure and other cloud services providers.
Cloud provides excellent flexibility, strong security and is becoming the “go to solution” for many organisations.
Disaster Recovery
Cyber incidents and equipment failures do happen, even with the best of protection in place. When they do, as a Managed Services Provider, our top priority is to get your business back working. We do this by offering standard back-up tools, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Solutions (BCDR). When deciding to go for a BCDR or standard back up, it comes down to a simple question. How long can you afford to be without the server / application? If it is more than a few days then, the answer is BCDR.
1): Standard Back-ups
This is where we use specialist ISO 27001 accredited software that takes a copy of your data and saves it to the cloud. In the event that you suffer a Cyber incident or equipment failure, we can recover the data from the cloud and rebuild your set-up. A key aspect of Standard Back-ups vs Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Solutions is the ability to have “fail over”. Standard back-ups do not have this ability.
2): Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Solutions
This is where we place specialist hardware in your location as well as deploy specialist ISO 27001 accredited software on your server. As with a standard back-up, data is saved and copied to the cloud, but with BCDR, the on-site hardware also has a copy of the data. This means that in the event that your server becomes inoperable, the on-site hardware becomes your server within seconds and you suffer no interruption. In the unlikely event that this on-site hardware becomes inoperable, we can replicate the server in the cloud. This process is called “Fail-over” and is a key aspect of BCDR.

At its core, LSS is a specialist Microsoft Managed Services Provider, and we provide support via a Remote Management and Monitoring tools, as this allows us to perform proactive maintenance and prevent IT issues from happening. To keep you operational, our engineers provide fast and efficient break / fix support via remote access, over the phone and in person, where an engineer will attend your location to provide support.
